We were contacted about these two little fox cubs by a lady in whose garden they were born. The lady was upset that the cubs were chewing her plants. We explained that the cubs are currently teething and just like puppies needed something to chew on.
We provided chew sticks and -toys to the cubs’ delight. They are not chewing any more plants now but are enjoying the chew toys as well as playing on a small trampoline that the lady allowed us to supply.
The cubs are training to perfect their pounce on the trampoline – an essential skill that will enable them to hunt when in a few weeks time they will make their way into the big wide world on their own.
We are currently documenting the cubs’ adventures on film and are making sure they always have fresh drinking water during these hot summer days.
