Lucky is a young urban fox who lives in an affluent area of Worthing and was snared twice in a row. He was snared by a hand-made, illegal snare – made by a thick wire that embedded into his skin. This is a wildlife crime the police are currently investigating. Lucky was rescued twice by WADARS and twice made a full recovery, so the kind guardians who support him called him Lucky. After his release we monitored Lucky for a few weeks with a trail camera to document his recovery. Watch the film about Lucky’s dramatic rescue here called ‘Lucky To Be Alive.’
