Miss Peanut was a very fragile urban vixen suffering from advanced mange when a call for help reached us. Miss Peanut had no more fur and was severely malnourished. She was near death and we worried that the call for help had reached us too late. Through daily feeding by her dedicated guardians and the supervised treatment with powerful and long-lasting anti-parasite medication, the little Miss eventually made a full recovery: She put on weight, gained strength and grew a new rusty coat to protect her from the elements. Miss Peanut is a shining example to illustrate how resilient foxes can be and how a seemingly hopeless situation can be turned round when the fox is fully supported.
